JS can be added in a couple of different manners such as ad modules and so forth. Unless it is written in pure javascript, you need to write a JS function that will wait for jquery to load but that is pretty simple. Glenn's CKeditor fix and selected text quote mods function perfectly on the cloud when setup as I described. My navbar clock and right side postbit mods also work among other things I have done on the cloud. Not being able to edit the templates forces one to think outside the box, but simple mods are not impossible and don't harm the functioning of the board. Below is a screenshot of my cloud test site showing the selected text working.

I might have a go at trying to get the quote selected text mod working on here, on that basis....when I get chance. I like that mod.

Hmm..not sure what you mean...you can't add modifcations in the way that you can on a self-hosted site.

I will enjoy seeing how you deal with things here, I really will and no pun intended saying that. Just good to be a regular member instead again and not have to deal with it myself as an admin running the forum.

There is, but this is a vB Cloud site so there's no modifications possible sadly.

It is the thing I miss most, as I also have a mod on my vB site that does it. It's a right pain not having it.

More than likely based on what's being said on my forum between us. But I'm not posting here on purpose to argue with them if they come for that. But I'd be interested if they do come starting trouble how you deal with it. I'll just be glad to get away from having to deal with it myself, I'm sick of it all now, had enough of dealing with it myself as a forum admin. Time for somebody else to have a go at it instead.

Well Paul's already here, I doubt he'd do anything 'naughty'.

I think you can do a good job of it Mark. Far better than Paul can for instance. Simply because you're more laid back about things, what is needed really with a new admin forum started.

I think it's handy to have somewhere that's a bit more 'laid back', though I realise I'm opening myself up for problems down the line if I'm not careful.

Having spent fourteen years running a website where people spend much of their time being absolutely horrible to each other, I am experienced in running sites this way.
